Andrea has worked at Valentines and Loving Residence for 22 years. She started her career out as a CNA working at Loving Residence. She furthered her education and obtained her Bachelors Degree as a Registered Nurse.
Andrea was born and raised in Red Wing and has four children. As Andrea’s children grew up, they played a large part in volunteering between the two facilities and later being employed by the facilities. Andrea strives to achieve the reputation that Valentines and Loving Residence have always had; to make the facilities as home like and comfortable as possible! She takes great pride in the businesses and she is looking forward to what the future has in store for her facilities. Her daughter, April Gernentz works along side her to help manage and operate both facilities. April has a Bachelors Degree in Business. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse and most recently has become An Assisted Living Director.
